"Cheap Beer and a Bad Year", tells the biographical story of Adam Bryan losing his Dad and ending a relationship, all in the same year, and the fear of what love and loss looks like. The song also celebrates survival, and the friends and family you make along the way during tough times.

Originally from a one-man show of the same name, which was to tour around Canada during 2020, Bryan hopes that the song resonates for people who feel like they can find themselves in his story during the COVID-19 pandemic.
